Yanks come in as heavy 2-1 favs with pettite on the hill against a roookie starter taking millowood's place. yanks have won 9 in a row against rangers and they should win tonight. I look for high scoring game as weather is warming up and both of these offenses can break out.
couple thoughts-
1. Yankees need to move abreu down in the lineup. The 250 average and 336. obp which is 75 points below his career mark aren't cutting it. Yanks can totally move up matsui or giambi and wait till bobby gets hot but he's an auto out right now.
2. we got great start from desalvo last night. we did get screwed on a blown call from 2nd base up or we wouldn't have lost i don't believe. desalvo looked like the inning eater sinkerballer we desperately need to fill in.
3. It would be nice to see pettite go at least 7 innings ton. he has only been going about six till he hits the 100 pitch mark.
I like over 11 in this game, ball should be hit around everywhere.
